Our hospital redevelopment
Estimated completion early 2025
The new multi-million-dollar redevelopment upgrade will help the Mount Hospital deliver a superior health service to patients in Western Australia’s Perth community.
The Mount Hospital opened its upgraded Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (Cath Lab) in 2023, it is one of three upgraded Cath Labs and marks the first stage in a major redevelopment of the hospital.
As one of the busiest cardiac centres in Australia, the upgrade means that Mount cardiologists now have the latest cardiac imaging equipment and cardiac technology at their fingertips to treat cardiac patients in Perth.
Work has now commenced for the largest stage of the Mount Hospital redevelopment, transforming the hospital’s existing infrastructure and clinical facilities.
When complete the new hospital will have improved clinical services and offer a better patient experience.
The hospital will remain open throughout the redevelopment project. The program of works has been staged to ensure there is minimal impact to patients and families accessing the hospital.
