Mount Hospital offers rehabilitation programs for inpatients, with the aim of empowering our patients to get home.
Our extensive multi-disciplinary team includes:
- 24 hour medical cover
- Dieticians
- Discharge coordinator
- Highly skilled nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Specialist physicians
- Speech therapists.
Our friendly team on Tuart Ward provide individualised and comprehensive care to enable each patient to regain their independence and confidence.
Our programs include:
- Chronic conditions which are currently managed at home, but would benefit from rehabilitation therapy
- Neurological programs including post neurosurgery
- Orthopaedic programs including upper and lower limb surgery
- Reconditioning programs including following surgical and medical events
- Spinal surgery.
